It requires years of experience in the field, but it also requires a great deal of knowledge. No, we are not talking about technical knowledge here. Anybody can learn how to use Photoshop, or any other tool pretty fast, but it takes years to learn how to successfully transfer the message, grab the attention, or provoke the reaction. What we will do here today, and within following weeks, is not something revolutionary or new, as it has been done countless times before. We will merely provide you with a simple guide for each commonly used color, how people react to it,  and hopefully give you some good examples along the way.

Right as I was in the middle of collecting material for PrintRadar’s newest list article, I bumped into a serious rant from the guy who made the CSSVault long time ago. The target, Smashing Magazine, and pretty much the rest of the community and bloggers who accepted the Smashing Magazine “way”, and that means lists in general. So, what’s with this amazing Battle At Kruger title? Well, all that kinda reminded me of that event, with lists being the buffalo who was caught in between the attacks of the lions and alligator, with the late support from the pack, if any. Nice coding habits like comments and code separation are useful at development stage, but that also contributes in a negative way as style sheets usually get even bigger. When CSS files are big they eat up bandwidth and slow down website response time because more time is needed to process them. That’s where CSS compressors jump in to optimize them properly, but keep in mind that they are not always the best solution although they can really help at some cases.
